On the longest, and one of the hottest, day of the year AFC hosted an afternoon of Eco Talks and Cream Teas.
The event was organised by our Eco Church Team. We had talks on how to encourage wildlife in the garden, how to invest ethically and how to extend the life of some of our possessions through the Repair Cafe. In between the talks cream teas were served and folks were able to explore side displays on eco friendly cleaning products and recycling.
We were thrilled to welcome so many people to the event and to once again host an event that brought together church and community.
After the weekend we heard that our church garden had been awarded a Certificate of Commendation from Amersham in Bloom.
