The Reverend Andrew Busby |

|
Andrew grew up in Wallington, Surrey, in a family who attended a local Baptist church.
However, for him becoming a Christian was very much a matter of personal decision. In his
teens he became a full member of a church and it was not long before he began training to
be a minister.
He was ordained very young and began working as a minister in Leytonstone, East London, at the age of 22. After nearly 13 years he moved to Pinner, then after a further 14 years to Amersham in 1998. Over the years he has also been a hospital chaplain, part-time teacher, regional minister, school governor, stand-in organist etc. He has a passion for classical music (especially J.S.Bach), enjoys walking, holidays (!), photography and the computer (on which he makes cards for Christian Aid) and has completed a second master’s degree - in spirituality. He is married to Angela, a radiographer, and has four grown-up children - a social worker, a drum-and-bass DJ, a mechanical engineer and a China and Far East travel consultant. |
